Most producers simply remove the alcohol from a finished wine, which strips out the aroma, body and finish that make wine taste like wine. BOLLE runs a second, patent-pending fermentation after dealcoholization to rebuild that structure naturally — a process no other producer in the world uses. Is BOLLE actually non-alcoholic?
Yes — every BOLLE wine is under 0.5% ABV, the legal threshold for "non-alcoholic," comparable to the trace amounts found naturally in ripe fruit or kombucha. All BOLLE wines are 100% vegan, gluten-free, and made with no added sugar, colour or artificial flavour.
Which BOLLE should I stock first?
For most lists, start with the Sparkling Rosé (the 93-point flagship) and the Blanc de Blancs for aperitifs and celebrations, then add the still Chardonnay so the dining room has a by-the-glass white.
