Description

Description

Ariel Chardonnay is a dealcoholized wine made in a sustainable winery in Paso Robles, California. This bottling shows an emphasis on tropical fruit character, This California Chardonnay is cold fermented in stainless steel cooperage and small French oak barrels. Once fermentation is complete, it is blended before undergoing more oak barrel aging. Just prior to bottling, the alcohol is gently removed by cold filtration, leaving less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

Ariel Chardonnay non-alcoholic white wine has a distinctive combination of buttery apple and butterscotch characteristics, combined with a toasty French oak bouquet. This dealcoholized wine should continue to develop complexity as it ages.

Ingredients:

About Ariel Vineyards

Ariel Vineyards is one of the original pioneers of premium non-alcoholic wine, developed by California-based J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines to deliver a true wine experience without alcohol. First introduced in the mid-1980s, Ariel was created to fill a major gap in the market—offering high-quality, alcohol-removed wines at a time when alternatives were virtually nonexistent.

Crafted from traditional grape varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, Ariel wines begin as fully fermented wines before undergoing a patented alcohol-removal process designed to preserve aroma, structure, and balance.

For restaurants, hotels, and retailers, Ariel represents a proven, accessible, and scalable non-alcoholic wine solution—combining decades of winemaking expertise with consistent quality and broad consumer appeal.

FAQ - Ariel Vineyards

Frequently questions about US distributor of Ariel Vineyards

What makes Ariel Vineyards different from other non-alcoholic wines?

Ariel is one of the original alcohol-removed wine brands, developed by a traditional California winery using real wine as its foundation. Unlike many newer products, Ariel benefits from decades of refinement in dealcoholization techniques, resulting in a more consistent and recognizable wine profile.

How should Ariel be positioned on a menu?

Ariel performs best when listed alongside traditional wines, clearly labeled as non-alcoholic Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay. This reinforces familiarity and helps drive trial among guests who want a recognizable wine experience.

Where can customers buy Ariel wines?

Retail customers: Available online at BeClink.com, offering nationwide access to non-alcoholic wines.

Wholesale customers: Available through Zepeim.com. Businesses can open a wholesale account to access pricing, distribution, and category expertise.

How is Ariel non-alcoholic wine produced?

Ariel wines are first produced as fully fermented wines using traditional winemaking methods. The alcohol is then removed through a patented process (reverse osmosis and cold filtration), which helps retain the wine’s natural flavors and aromas while reducing alcohol content.

Is Ariel suitable for retail environments?

Yes—Ariel has strong retail appeal due to:

  • Long-standing brand recognition
  • Familiar varietals (Cabernet, Chardonnay)
  • Competitive pricing and accessibility

It performs well both in dedicated non-alcoholic sections and alongside traditional wines.

Is Ariel suitable for high-volume service?

Absolutely. Ariel is one of the most scalable non-alcoholic wine options available, making it ideal for:

  • Banquets and large events
  • Hotel programs
  • Catering and institutional use

Its consistency and supply reliability make it a practical choice for large-scale operations.
