What is Copenhagen Sparkling Tea LYSERØD?
Copenhagen Sparkling Tea LYSERØD is a genuinely alcohol-free (0.0% ABV) organic sparkling tea from Denmark — the range’s answer to a dry sparkling rosé — sold by the case of twelve 750ml bottles. Up to 13 organic teas are hand-brewed separately, then blended with a dash of grape juice and lemon and lightly carbonated, building the structure and comfortable dryness of real wine without a drop of alcohol. It is the driest version of Sparkling Tea, yet still smooth and round. Historically it performs best as a credible alcohol-free rosé on the wine list: welcome glasses, by-the-glass pairings, and especially seafood and oyster service. Zepeim is the proud US importer.

Flavor profile
Intense aromas of red berries and red apple lead into a complex, comfortably dry palate built on Happy Valley Oolong, with hints of blackberry and hibiscus. The smooth Silver Needle white tea rounds it out, finishing on light, bitter-fruity notes. The colour is a light pink rosé.
How to serve it
Serve well chilled (around 41°F (5°C)) in a flute or white-wine glass to lift the aromatics and fine bead. Works as a dry rosé welcome pour, a by-the-glass sparkling feature, or a premium bottle for guests seeking an elegant alcohol-free option.
What it pairs with
Built for the salty kitchen: light dishes, seafood, and especially oysters. A natural sunny-day and raw-bar pour, where its dryness and acidity cut brine the way a dry sparkling rosé would.

The sparkling-tea category was created in 2010 by award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba, who couldn’t find a wine to match a dessert despite a 1,700-bottle cellar — and built a blend of exclusive teas instead. In 2017 he partnered with Bo Sten Hansen to found Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company; the first bottle sold in Copenhagen that May. The range now reaches more than 50 countries and over 100 Michelin restaurants — recognition that does real work on a wine list. Zepeim is the proud US importer.
